Give your customers the insight they desire
The MotorBase Customer Web Portal gives companies using MotorBase the ability to provide their customers (the motor/equipment owners) with access information related to their jobs and equipment through the motor shop website via a web portal link.
The access is established through the Internet tab in the Customer forms in MotorBase.
The examples below show screenshots from a MotorBase client, REM in Hartford CT, depicting a fictional company, Mack Davis Corporation.
The motor shop enters the customer information into the customer forms in MotorBase. Access to the Customer Web Portal is granted on the Internet tab. The motor shop selects the type of information their customer will be permitted to access.
A link to the web portal is created on the motor shop website.
The motor shop’s customer logs in to the web portal using the credentials supplied by the motor shop. This is the view the customer sees when logging in to the web portal.
Customers are then able to access information based on the permissions granted by the motor shop on the Internet tab of the Customer forms in MotorBase.
The image below shows a list of invoices. The actual invoices may be opened by clicking the blue invoice numbers. The opened invoices may be saved or printed as desired.
The image below shows a list of Jobs along with basic information including the Job #, Motor ID, and the most recent Status assigned in MotorBase.
Detailed job or motor information can be accessed by clicking the blue Job # or Motor ID numbers.
Customer Web Portal Photos and other attachments can be accessed as well.
Quotes, Motors, and Inventory (with or without prices) can be viewed in similar fashion based on permissions granted by the motor shop.
