The software behind the processes that keep the world running
To provide the most user-friendly, value-added, comprehensive, effective software solutions along with unmatched customer service for the industries that run the world
Spring Point Solutions is named for an iconic landmark in Portland Harbor where the Spring Point Lighthouse illuminates the way, and points ships to safety. Spring Point Solutions offers the same illumination for today’s business world. Navigating the business management waters can be challenging. Let Spring Point bring clarity, direction, and guidance as you chart your course.
Born from a family business, Spring Point Solutions grew out of the need for a better way to manage electric motor repairs. In 1999, Jamie Stultz, fourth generation at Stultz Electric, joined forces with company controller Troy Locke. Together, they saw the limitations of existing software and decided to build their own. Their goal? To streamline inventory, job processing, and true cost analysis for motor repair shops.
What started as an internal solution at Stultz Electric in 1995, called MotorBase, evolved into something bigger. Unlike isolated software products, the Spring Point Suite of products thrives on continuous user feedback, particularly from those in operations. Over the past 25 years, co-founders, Troy, and Jamie have meticulously developed MotorBase, QM Wizard and other programs that make up the suite. Today, the Spring Point Suite represents industry best practices, continuously refined through customer experience.
Co-Founder & CEO
Troy began his affiliation with the motor repair industry in 1995 as the controller at Stultz Electric. As an expert in Job Costing and Inventory Control, Troy is a regular presenter at regional EASA conferences. Troy’s dedication to Spring Point Solutions and its customers over the past two decades resulted in the success of the MotorBase software and a company highly valued for customer service. As CEO Troy has expanded the company and continues as the visionary behind Spring Point.
Co-Founder & CIO
Jamie grew up in the motor shop founded by his great grandfather in 1906. That experience, coupled with degrees in both computer science and electrical engineering, became the perfect foundation for the Spring Point Suite that revolutionized the way apparatus repair shops operate. In 2000 Jamie left Stultz Electric to concentrate his effort on Spring Point Solutions where he continues to lead the development team and improve the IT infrastructure.
