To provide the most user-friendly, value-added, comprehensive, effective software solutions along with unmatched customer service for the industries that run the world
Spring Point Solutions is named for an iconic landmark in Portland Harbor where the Spring Point Lighthouse illuminates the way, and points ships to safety. Spring Point Solutions offers the same illumination for today’s business world. Navigating the business management waters can be challenging. Let Spring Point bring clarity, direction, and guidance as you chart your course.
Spring Point Solutions evolved out the electric motor repair industry. Spring Point was co-founded by Jamie Stultz, fourth generation at Stultz Electric, the family motor repair shop. Jamie worked with company controller, Troy Locke, to find a better way to manage inventory, process jobs, and learn the true cost of each job. After researching available products, they wrote their own program and built a system specifically designed for the motor repair industry. Jamie and Troy began using the first version of MotorBase at Stultz Electric in 1995.
Unlike other products that devolved downward from developers to the job floor, the internally designed Spring Point Suite evolved upward, designed by people working daily on the shop floor. When Spring Point Solutions was established in 1999, Troy and Jamie focused on the formal development of MotorBase and the other programs that became the Spring Point software suite. Today the Spring Point Suite is a collection of industry best practices, the result of over 20 years of continual customer-driven improvements.
