Basic Function

Define each class of equipment. The EM system provides fields for:

  • Equipment ID number
  • Item name
  • Make
  • Model
  • Serial Number
  • Add up to 60 additional searchable attribute fields for each class.
  • Assign “status” to each item.
  • Track current and historic locations.
  • Track equipment Inspection, Maintenance, & Repair actions.
  • Store images and drawings.
  • Link equipment items such as a motor and a pump or a generator with multiple switches.
  • Search for equipment based on any of the associated attributes.
  • Show the relationship between equipment items.

EM & integrated data technology

Equipment managed in the EM Solution is visible to your customers through the Customer Web Portal. Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair forms and checklists are completed in the QM Wizard. Equipment items can also be viewed in MotorBase. Items in MotorBase can be activated in the Equipment Manager.
